The best thing you can do is use a 3 percent hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) solution. It’s about the same thing that’s used for hair bleeching, and it’s a disinfectant, too. Ask your dentist for a scrip; I don’t know whether it’s freely available at drugstores. Here in Europe, you can buy it for little money at pharmacies, and it helps. Mind the instructions: Do NOT swallow it, but just let it work on your teeth for half a minute, then spit it out.

H2O2 dissolves into H2O (water) and free oxygen. The oxygen then combines with the “dirt” on your teeth and cleans them thouroughly, at the same time killing many of the bacteria you have in your mouth. It tastes like — water, and is much cheaper and easier to handle than Listerine or any other commercial mouthwash.

if i am using a mouthguard with whitening gel,
should i apply the gel to a toothbrush then put it in my mouthguard, or should i apply to gel straight to the mouthguard.
also, approximately how much gel should i use?

i put the gel in the mouth guard and i use just enough to cover the bottom of the guard so when you put it in your mounth it doesnt spill over the edges.

Hmmmm.

Yes, a couple of American’s DID patent their hand-made toothbrush ideas in the 1840s and 50s, but the same websites imply that their fellow citizens thought it was a STUPID IDEA, and it never caught on until the 1940s, when it was FORCED on the guys with rotting teeth and bad breath in the fox holes of WW2.

On the other hand, how do you explain the old pre-WW2 (1900-1930) national magazine ads for TOOTH PASTE in the USA that claim MILLIONS of customers all keeping their teeth bright and clean with regular brushing ? False Advertising ? AND….they recently dug up a bone tooth brush handle from George Washington’s early 1700s boyhood home.

COLGATE says that Flouride Toothpaste was introduced in 1914. Another site says it was the 1960s. Who’s right ?

Another site has FRANCE as the pioneer, promoting tooth-brushing to all of Europe.

colgate whitening sir. it kind of works. i should know. i had to photoshop my teeth in a photo to make them white last year.

noooo… crest is the best i use the white strips and they work so well!! you only have to tolerate the taste for the amount of time they are on then you brush your teeth after you are done. i don’t know any other types but i recommend crest 100 percent
